Duty Manager

Park‘N Fly is Canada’s only national airport parking provider, providing both business and leisure travellers over 45 years of quality service from coast to coast. To meet those needs, Park‘N Fly is seeking a full-time Duty Manager. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Duty Manager will oversee all guest service interactions, prepare and manage weekly personnel plans, manage frontline personnel and maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellent customer service delivery through various workgroups
  • Manage the resolution of customer service issues
  • Prepare a weekly plan to meet estimated demands for required labour and scheduling accordingly
  • Provide direction to supervisors regarding shift assignments
  • Manage and direct staff in various workgroups to ensure optimum service delivery
  • Maintain a safe environment for staff and guests through abiding and enforcing company safety policies and procedures


You Provide

  • Previous supervisory experience preferably in an operations or customer service setting
  • Post-secondary education or 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Managerial or supervisory experience in a unionized environment considered an asset
  • Superior leadership, communication, guest relations, and employee relations skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and delegate to meet deadlines
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and escalate serious concerns where necessary
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office programs including relative comfort with Excel
  • Valid G-class driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Ability and willingness to work a rotating shift including nights and weekends
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
